O My Bag's woven leather is characterised by its layered strips of soft leather and is produced by a group of women in Bilpar, a small village on the outskirts of Kolkata, who weave the leather. Currently, there are around 40 housewives who work from their homes, which allows them to earn a sustainable income while still fulfilling their household responsibilities like taking care of the children. By providing work opportunities to these women and supporting their skills, O My Bag are making a positive difference in their lives and the lives of their families.
